OBITUARY

     Margaret E. Grantley was born in Maysville, Illinois, March 31, 1858, and passed away as her daughters home in Cliffs, November 14, 1939, at the age of 81 years, 7 months and 23 days.
     Mrs. Grantley came to Washington in 1902 and the first settled in Klickitat county at Cleveland near the Dot section and resided there until 1914, at which time she moved to Cliffs.
     In 1920 she moved to Yakima and had resided there and at Cliffs since that time.
     She is survived by one daughter; Mrs. Jesse L. Ferguson, one son; F.L. Connell, one foster daughter, Ruth Brown and seven grandchildren.
     Mrs. Grantley has been a true believer and follower of Christ all her life.
     Burial took place at the Centerville Grange cemetery.
