MARY MAXWELL

     Mary E. Maxwell, a longtime Trout Lake resident, died Oct. 2, 1986, in the Hood River Care Center, at the age of 86.      Mrs. Maxwell was born Feb. 22, 1900, in Martinville, Ill., to Jonathon and Harriet Ellington. She was raised in Illinois. She married Sylvester H. Maxwell in Indiana in 1920. They moved west in 1921, homesteading in Idaho and then settling in Trout Lake in the early 1940's.
     She is survived by her husband, Sylvester, Trout Lake; a daughter, June Harris, Stevenson; and four grandchildren.            Graveside services were held at 1 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 1986, at the Trout Lake Cemetery, with Rev. Judith Richard officiating.
     Gardner Funeral home was in charge of the arrangements.
