TAKEN BY DEATH
Maize E. Robbins, a resident of Silverton since 1936,
except for a few years in Pendleton, died Monday at Silverton
Hospital.
She was born Sept. 9, 1897 at Rockford, Ill., and was
active in the Lions Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. LeLand (Betty Lee)
Morgan of Silverton and Mrs. Edward (Delores) Kroeker of Portland; a son,
William B. Robbins, Jr. of Seattle; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild;
sisters, Mrs. Lilliam Barret of Seattle, and Mrs. Rose Kissell of Federal
Way, Wash.; and a brother William E. Brown of Seattle.
Services were Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Unger's Funeral
Chapel with interment at the IOOF Cemetery at White Salmon, Wash.
Rev. Dan Dowling officiated.

MAIZIE E. ROBBINS
SILVERTON - Maizie E. Robbins, 74, Rt. 2, Box 98B, died
Monday at a Silverton hospital after a short illness.
Born in Rockford, Ill., she moved here in 1937. She was
a member of Lions Club Auxiliary.
Survivors include son William B., Seattle; daughters,
Mrs. Betty Morgan, Silverton, Mrs. Delores Kroeker, Portland; brother William
E. Brown, Seattle; sisters Mrs. Lillian Barrett, Seattle, Mrs. Rose Kissell,
Federal Way, Wash.; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Unger mortuary,
Rev. Daniel Dowling officiating. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday
at I.O.O.F. Cemetery, White Salmon, Wash.
