MARY ELLEN TALBERT

     Mary Ellen (Green) Talbert was born in Springfield, Missouri, July 18, 1858 and died in the family home in White Salmon, August 18, 1937, just entering her eightieth year. The Talberts have lived in Klickitat county, Washington for 44 years, many of which were spent in White Salmon. Mrs. Talbert was converted in early youth and joined the Methodist Church of which she was a devoted and consistent member as long as she lived. Her husband, Charles L. Talbert of this city survives her; also two daughters and once son; Mrs. Ryerse and Mrs. Super, both of Portland, Ore., and Ralph Talbert of Vancouver, this state. There are also several grandchildren and a host of friends who mourn her loss.
