She lived in Glenwood over thirty years and maintained
a wonderful home for her husband.
An older sister, Rosella Allen lived with Myrtle for

Myrtle was a loyal Grange member and filled the station
of Ceres in the Glenwood Grange for many years, and attended meetings regularly.
She also belonged to the Ladies Aid and Pioneer Association, Klickitat County

She was a good neighbor and a friend to all that knew
her; and all children were very fond of her; she was happiest when doing
something for some one else.
