FRANCES GRAY
Mary Frances Mullen Gray died May 12, 2001, in Hood River,
at the age of 93.
She was born in Prescott. Ariz., to pioneer ranchers
Charles P. and Flora Hanna Mullen. She graduated from Tempe Union High School
in 1924 and later attended Tempe Normal College, now Arizona State
University.
Mrs. Gray lived in Phoenix with her husband Art C. Gray
until 1992, when they relocated to Hood River. He preceded her in death in
1997.
She was an employee of the IRS for a number of years
in the Phoenix. Ariz., office, and was an avid gardener, accomplished on
the piano and a talented clothes designer.
Mrs. Gray is survived by daughter Sandra Nelson Walters,
Trout Lake: grandsons Jeff and Lon Ball and Travis Johnson; 13
great-grandchildren and 3 great, great-grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mrs. Gray will be held Saturday,
May 19, 2001, at 11 a.m. at the Trout Lake Cemetery.
