MARJORIE L. FIANDER

     Marjorie L. Fiander of Glenwood died June 12 in Goldendale. She was 71.
     Mrs. Fiander was born Nov. 7, 1921 in Toppenish to David and Harriet French. She graduated from Toppenish High School and married Lawrence Fiander Sr., July 22, 1946 in California. The couple resided in the Yakima Valley for several years before moving to Glenwood in 1953. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence in 1978.
     She was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and enjoyed attending grandchildren's sporting events.
     She is survived by her sons, Lawrence Fiander of Glenwood and Richard Fiander of Wapato; daughters, Mary Dean and Alma Sampson, both of Glenwood; stepsons, Dennis Fiander of White Swan and Robert Fiander of Toppenish; brother, Abel French of Toppenish; sister, Helen La Due of Carson; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.              Funeral services were held June 16 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Thomas Lane officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
     Rosary was held Tuesday in the Chapel of Erdman Funeral Home.
     Pallbearers were Daryle La Due, Tracy Swan, Richard French, Roger Fiander, Phillip (Bing) Olney and Sherman Frazier. Honorary pallbearers were her grandsons, Lawrence Fiander III, Brian Fiander, David Fiander, Justin Sampson, Joshua Fiander, Steven Dean, Devin Dean, Levi Fiander, O.J. Fiander, Tony Fiander and Mike Fiander.

FIANDER

     Marjorie L. Fiander, 71, of Glenwood passed away June 12, 1993 in Goldendale.

     Survivors include two sons, Lawrence Fiander of Glenwood and Richard Fiander of Wapato; two daughters, Mary Dean and Alma Sampson, both of Glenwood; two stepsons, Dennis Fiander of White Swan and Robert Fiander of Toppenish; one brother, Abel French of Toppenish; one sister, Helen LaDue of Carson; 16 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
     Mass of Christian Burial was held June 16, 1993 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Thomas Lane officiating. Interment followed at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood. Rosary was will be held Tuesday at 9 p.m. in the Chapel of Erdman Funeral Home.
