MYRTLE THROOP
Myrtle F. Throop, Glenwood died May 31 at the age of
71 in Goldendale.
She was born Jan. 13, 1911, in Lane County, Ore., to
Mr. and Mrs. Luther Armstrong. She lived off and on in Glenwood for years
and lived the last four years at Mt. Adams Care Center in Goldendale. She
was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Throop is survived by her children, Katherine Steinback,
Glenwood, Herrel Ray Throop, Port Angeles, Gerald Throop, Glenwood, and Geraldine
Long, Gresham, Ore.; 21 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her husband, Herrel C.; one son, Lloyd; and two grandsons.
Funeral services for Mrs. Throop were held Saturday at
1 p.m. at Pioneer Church in Glenwood with Rev. Ken Wutzke officiating. Interment
was at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
