MICHAEL F. WARD

     Michael F. Ward, a pioneer of Klickitat County, was born near Blockhouse April 1, 1883 to Timothy and Belinda Ward.
     He died June 24, 1973 at the age of 90. Mike lived in this area all his life with the exception of a couple of years that he spent in the Yakima Valley.
     All of his life he farmed until his health failed about 15 years ago.
     He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Pete, Timothy and Joe. Mike is survived by a nephew, Frank Ward of The Dalles and a niece, Mrs. Allen Baugher of Yakima.
     Services were held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church June 27 with Fr. John Marasciulo officiating. Pallbearers were August Jackel, Wilbert Crocker, Don Ritschke, Frank Clements, Charles and Randy Adams. Interment was in the family plot at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

     With the deepest gratitude we extend this word of thanks for the many kind acts of sympathy expressed by thoughtful friends. A special thanks to the staff at Cascade Villa for their wonderful care the past seven years. These kindnesses have meant much to us.
