MARILYN WICKMAN

     Marilyn Frances Wickman, 86, a resident of The Dalles, died at a The Dalles hospital on Tuesday, Aug. 24, 2004.
     She was born Jan. 14, 1918, in Tacoma, the only child of Harry S. and Edith Emma (Thorp) Kress. She was raised in Klickitat and graduated from Klickitat High School.
     She married Edward Albert Wickman on June 30, 1937, in Vancouver and she lived in Klickitat until moving to Mill Creek Point in The Dalles in 2002.
     She was a homemaker and had worked at the mill in Klickitat for 20 years. She was a lifelong member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Klickitat and after moving to The Dalles, joined the Bethany Lutheran Church.
     She is survived by her sons Richard, Oaxaca, Mexico, Michael, Lakeview, Ore., and Robert, Klickitat; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
     Memorial services were held at the Bethany Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. on Aug. 27, 2004, with Rev. Cory Hahnke officiating. Interment was at Lyle Balch Cemetery.
     Memorials may be made to Grace Lutheran Church in Klickitat or Bethany Lutheran Church in The Dalles.
     Smith Callaway Chapel was in care of arrangements.

     Memorial services will be held at the Bethany Lutheran Church at 10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 27, with Rev. Cory Hahnke officiating. Private cremation was held at The Dalles Win-quatt Crematory with burial of her cremains at Lyle Balch Cemetery Smith Callaway Chapel is in care of arrangements.
