FORMER KLICKITAT MAN BURIED AT THE DALLES

     Funeral rites for Malcolm Gene Miller, 31, who died in Puerto Rico, May 4, 1969 as the result of an automobile accident, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Smith-Callaway Chapel in The Dalles. The Rev. Ted Williams of the Klickitat Valley Baptist Church was in charge.
     Miller, an electricians mate second class in the U.S. Navy, lived for a good many years in Klickitat. He had been a career man in the Navy, serving for the past 16 years.
     Committal was at the Odd Fellows Cemetery in The Dalles, with the military rites in charge of members of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Training Center Reserve at Swan Island, Portland.
     Mr. Miller was born March 12, 1938, at Klamath Falls, OR.
     Surviving are his widow, June, of Norfolk, VA.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Miller of Klickitat; brother, David, of Virginia Beach, VA.; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. C.F. Thiebolt of Klickitat.
