MARGARET OPAL PENDLETON

     A White Salmon resident for 40 years, Margaret Pendleton died in Goldendale at the age of 71.
     She is survived by her husband, H.N. Pendleton, White Salmon; sisters, Althea Phillips, Spokane, Wa., Susie Ostrom, Wofford Heights, Cal., Nellie Bagwell, Houston, Tex., Floy Morris, Dallas, Tex., Bonnie High, Mt. Vernon, Miss., and Delmar Rogers, Golden, Mo.
     She died July 5, and graveside services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. David Steckman officiating. Interment was in White Salmon Cemetery, with services directed by Gardner Funeral Home, Inc.
     Mrs. Pendleton, a member of the Southern Baptist Church, was retired from work at the Underwood Fruit Warehouse.
