MRS. M. JACOBSON PASSES; SERVICES HELD TUESDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Matt Jacobson, who died at
the Goldendale General Hospital Sunday, Sept. 4, following an extended illness,
were held from the Phillips Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock with
the Rev. Walter G. Smith officiating. Mrs. Jacobson was 62 years of age.
Interment was made in the Centerville Grange cemetery. Pall-bearers were
Virgil Anderson, Clifford Wilson, Arthur Mattson,; Frank Mattson, Wilbur
Crocker and Stan Crocker.
The deceased was born June l3, 1887 at Deep River, the
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Wilmie. She was united in marriage to Matt
Jacobson at Astoria, Oregon, On August 12, 1912, coming to Centerville where
they have since made their home.
Mrs. Jacobson was a member of the Pythian Sisters Lodge
at Centerville. Survivors include her husband, two daughter, Mrs. Charles
Divers of Vancouver and Mrs. Earl Cawetzka of Detroit, Michigan one son,
Warren, of Goldendale; one sister Mrs. J.B. Clyde of South Bend, and one
brother, Charles Wilmie of Seattle.

MINNIE JACOBSON
Minnie Jacobson, the daughter of John and Katherine Wilmie,
was born at Deep River on June 13, 1887. She died at the Goldendale Hospital
on Sunday, September 4, at the age of 62 years.
She was united in marriage to Matt Jacobson at Astoria,
Oregon August 12, 1912. They immediately came to Centerville where they have
since made their home.
Mrs. Jacobson was a member of the Lutheran church. She
was also a member of the Pythian Sisters Lodge at Centerville.
Five children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Matt Jacobson,
one son and one daughter having died in their infancy.
She is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Charles
Divers of Vancouver, and Mrs. Earl Cawetzka of Detroit, Michigan; one son,
Warren Jacobson of Centerville; one granddaughter, Eileen Ann Cawetzka; one
sister, Ms. J.B. Clyde of South Bend; and one brother, Charles Wilmie of
Seattle.
