MAX I. TEEL

     Max I. Teel, a long-time Husum resident, died Dec. 18 in White Salmon at the age of 76.
     Mr. Teel was born Jan. 15, 1905, in Rogers, Ark., to Mr. and Mrs. Charles Teel. He came to Husum in 1955 and has lived there since.
     A retired timber faller, Mr. Teel is survived by two sons, Walter Teel, Carson and Robert Teel, White Salmon; two daughters, Ethel Sawyer, White Salmon and Maxine Ziegler, Castle Rock; two brothers, Carl Keel, Husum and Herbert Teel, Yacolt; 35 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
     Funeral services for Mr. Teel were held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with the Rev. Leonard Krushel officiating. Interment was at the White Salmon cemetery.
