DEATHS REPORTED
Nina Winterstein, 78, and Ariel Bunce, 73, both residents of Goldendale, passed away. Bunce expired Tuesday afternoon and Mrs. Winterstein Wednesday morning. At press time Wednesday afternoon The Sentinel was unable to secure information in regard to relatives or funeral arrangements.

Mina Catherine Brown was born April 10, 1885 in Horseshoe
Bend west of Goldendale and passed from this life March 18, 1964 up the Klickitat
Valley Hospital in Goldendale at the age of 78 years, 11 month and 8 days.
She spent all of her life in the Goldendale and Centerville
communities. She was the eldest daughter of Thomas and Mary Brown, old pioneers
of the area. She married Steven Ralph Winterstein at the home of her parents
on January 13, 1907 and it to this union were born two sons, Jack and Vernon.
Vernon passed away on May 15, 1956 and Jack followed
the death of his mother closely. Her husband preceded her in death in April
1952. Her two sisters also preceded her in death.
She leaves behind to mourn her passing, one brother,
Ralph A. Brown of Goldendale and a host of relatives and friends.
She has long been a Christian and a strong believer.
She was a kind, loving wife and mother and a true friend. She will be greatly
missed in the community.
