MICHAEL JOSEPH HOCTOR
Requiem Mass was held at Holy Trinity Catholic Church
in Goldendale Tuesday morning, May 14, for Michael Joseph Hoctor who died
Saturday, May 11, 1968 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Yakima. Mass was said by
Father P. Byron and Kenny Hoctor, Charlie Hoctor and Tommy Willis serving.
Mr. Hoctor was born August 28, 1902 in Goldendale to
the late Mr. and Mrs. M.M. Hoctor. He spent his entire life in the No. 6
area southeast of Goldendale where he operated a wheat and cattle ranch.
On November 28, 1923 he was united in marriage to Amelia
M. Rauscher. To this union two sons were born. Survivors include his widow,
Amelia and sons of Donald and Wayne; four granddaughters, Cindy, Kathy, Jill
and Erin and one grandson, Daniel Joseph. He also leaves three brothers,
William and John of Goldendale and Robert of Vancouver; one sister, Mrs.
Grace Fuchs, Yakima, and several nieces and nephews.
Rosary services were held Monday, May 13 at the Holy
Trinity Catholic Church with Father P. Byron officiating.
Active pallbearers were his nephews, Edward Sarsfield,
Edward Hoctor, Fred Hoctor, Larry Fuchs, Charles Hoctor and Emmett Hoctor.
Interment was at the Holy Trinity Catholic cemetery.

We are sincerely and deeply grateful to the many good people who have been so kind and helpful during our recent bereavement; also we thank the many friends and relatives for the cards and beautiful flowers.
