MICHAEL MCNABB
Michael J. McNabb, a longtime Lyle resident and Klickitat
County Sheriff's Department deputy, died in an automobile accident on State
Highway 14 Thursday, at the age of 26.
Mr. McNabb was born July 22, 1959 in Cleveland, Ohio,
to Charles L. "Dick" and Tamara A. Hobbs McNabb. He moved to Lyle at the
age of 3, graduating from Lyle High School in 1977. He graduated from Eastern
Washington University in 1981 and has been employed with the sheriff's department
since 1982.
He is survived by his father, Charles L. "Dick" McNabb,
Hood River, Ore.; his mother, Tamara McNabb, West Linn, Ore.; grandparents,
stella McNabb, Lyle, and Dessie and Richard Rice, Troutdale, Ore.; a sister,
Kathy McNabb, Cheney; aunt and uncle, Larry and Wanda Rutledge, Lyle; and
several other aunts and uncles.
Graveside services for Mr. McNabb were held Saturday
at 10 a.m. at the Lyle Balch Cemetery, with Rev. Les Haarstad officiating.
