SERVICES FOR MARY TROH HELD TUESDAY
Mary Josephine Parrott was born at New Era, Oregon on
November 18th, 1882. She moved to Goldendale, Washington in 1883. On August
17, 1900 at Goldendale she was united in marriage to Peter J. Troh, and then
lived in Glenwood. To this union seven children were born. One died at infancy,
and one daughter passed away in 1932. Her husband passed away June 5th, 1944.
Surviving are three daughters; Gladys Darling, Freda
McGhee and Irma Johnson, all of Portland. Two sons; Henry of Portland and
Norman of Glenwood.
Three brothers; Keston and Arvin Parrott of Portland
and Robert of Glenwood. Two sisters; Stella Babcock of White Salmon and Jessie
Howfield of Yakima.
Nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren, besides
other relatives and a host of friends.
She was a charter member of the Pioneer and Granger for
over 60 years. Also the West Klickitat Pomona and the Washington State Grange,
and was active in helping with the work and programs of both.
Graveside services conducted by the Grange were held
Tuesday, January 13th at 11 a.m. in the Mt. Adams Cemetery at Glenwood.
Pall bearers were: Nels Burgess, Camar Kuhnhausen, George
Wellenbrock, Robert Wellenbrock, Jack Pierce, Max Ladiges, Sr.

DEATH SUMMONS MRS. PETE TROH
Graveside Grange services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday,
Jan. 13 in Mt. Adams cemetery near Glenwood for Mrs. Peter (Mary Josephine
Parrott) Troh, 76, who died at Boring, Oregon January 10.
Gardners were in charge of arrangements. Leroy Andrews,
Acting Master of the Glenwood Grange, officiated. Pall bearers were Nels
Burgess, Osmar Kuhnhausen, George Wellenbrock, Robert Wellenbrock, Jack Pierce,
and Max Ladiges, Jr.
Mrs. Troh was born at New Era, Oregon Nov. 18, 1884.
She moved to Goldendale in 1883 .
After he marriage on Aug. 17, 1900 in Goldendale to Peter
J. Troh, they lived in Glenwood. Mr. Troh died on June 5, 1944.
Five of their seven children survive: Gladys Darling
, Freda McGhee and Henry Troh, all of Portland: and Norman of Glenwood.
Also three brothers: Heston and Arvin Parrott of portland,
and Robert of Glenwood; and two sisters, Mrs. Stella Babcock of White Salmon
and Mrs. Jessie Howfield of Yakima; and nine grandchildren.
Mrs. Troh was a charter member of the Camas prairie and
Vicinity Pioneers Association and a Granger for over 60 years. She was an
active worker in the West Klickitat Pomona and Washington State Grange.

Services will be held at Mt. Adams cemetery in Glenwood,
Wash., at 11 a.m. Tuesday for Mary Josephine Troh, 76, mother of Portland
airport operator Henry Troh. She died Saturday.
She was born at New Era but lived most of her life in
Washington. The last few years, however, she resided with a daughter, Mrs.
Irma Johnson, at Boring.
Other survivors include daughters, Gladys Darling and
Freda McGhee of Portland and a son, Norman, of Glenwood. She was a sister
of Heston and Arvin Parrott of Portland, Robert Parrott of Glenwood, Stella
Babcock of White Salmon, Wash., and Jessie Howfield of Yakima.
