MERCEDES JOANNA VARGAS

     Mercedes Joanna Vargas, the infant daughter of Eduardo and Mary Ann Vargas of White Salmon, died shortly after birth in Portland on May 6, 1994.
     She is survived by her parents at Eduardo and Mary Ann Vargas of White Salmon; grandparents Margo and Benjamin Quist of Stevenson; Joe and Wilma McCarthy of White Salmon; Rita and Erneo Vargas of Mexico; aunts and uncles Efigenia Vargas of White Salmon, Brenda and Larry Cantwell of Stevenson; Bud and Sonya Cantwell and Monica and Antonio Ortiz of White Salmon.
     Funeral services were held Tuesday May 10, at the White Salmon Cemetery; the Rev. Kenneth Kron officiated.
     The Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of all the arrangements.
