MASTERS
Marlin Kaye Masters died at the Eisenhower Medical Clinic
at Rancho Mirage, California June 22.
She was born September 13, 1928 in Seattle, Washington.
She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, Order
of Eastern Star and Centerville Grange.
Marilyn is survived by her husband Howard and daughter
Susan of Centerville, her mother, Hazel F. Berchand, brother William R. Burch,
both of Bothell, Washington. Marilyn was preceded in death by her father,
John E. Burch and a brother Richard.
Marilyn was educated in the Portland School Systems and
graduated from Commerce Business College of the same city. She worked for
the Bell Telephone System in Portland, Oregon and later at Pacific Power
and Light at The Dalles, Oregon. Later in her married life she worked as
a secretary and teachers aide at the Centerville Grade School. She married
Howard Masters Sept. 21, 1952, and a daughter Susan Kaye was born Feb. 16,
1959.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 3rd with Eldon
Wiidanen and Evergreen Chapter No. 1 O.E.S. presiding. Interment will be
in the Centerville Cemetery.
Honorary pallbearers were William L. West, Dexter T.
Thompson, Lyle K. Woods, Anthony W. Sarsfield, Quentin Jaekel and Granville
Ritzschke.
Active pallbearers were: Clyde M. Story, William G. Garner,
William F. Garner, Henry F. Garner, John Hassing and John S. Burch.
