MARY BAUMGARDEN
Mary Louise Baumgarden, a White Salmon area resident
for the last 18 years, died suddenly Nov. 1 at the age of 54, enroute to
her mother-in-law's funeral in Missouri.
Mrs. Baumgarden was born July 23, 1929, in Kent, to Mr.
and Mrs. William M. Edwards. She was reared in Sherman County and attended
schools there. She married A. Paul Baumgarden April 39, 1965, in Stevenson.
She was currently attending The Dalles School of Beauty.
She is survived by her husband, Paul, Underwood; children,
Christina Louise Joyce, Kingston, Georgia J. Sousa of, Renton, and Darrell
A. Braumgarden, Hood River; brothers, Leslie Edwards, Livermore, Calif.,
and William Edwards, Tigard, Ore.; sisters, Wilma Shaw, Condon, Ore., Viola
Stepper, Port Orchard, Rose Mary Smith, Vale, Ore., Elmira Boyce, Mt. Lake
Park, Md., Rebecca VanTreeck, Gleneden Beach, Ore., and Joyce Caberos, Seattle;
seven step-brothers and sisters; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Baumgarden will be held today
Thursday at 2 p.m. at Gardner Funeral home in White Salmon, with Rev. David
Steckman and Leslie Edwards officiating. Interment will be in of the White
Salmon Cemetery.
