The Graveside Services that were to be held here Thursday for Mrs. Minnie Peterson, who passed away Jan. 17 at a rest home in Gresham, Ore. were postponed till Friday due to the weather and bad roads. Mrs. Peterson was an old pioneer of T.L., mother of Wallace of W.S., Sanford of Vancouver, Mrs. Minnie Esselstyn, Mrs. Hulda Lamb, Mrs. Hedvig Leighton, Mrs. Amanda Cozag of Portland, Mrs. Lena Wilks of Calif. and the late Carl Peterson of T.L.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES AT TROUT FOR FORMER RESIDENT
Word reached here of the death of Mrs. Minnie Peterson,
who passed away last Sunday at a rest home in a Gresham, Oregon.
Graveside services will be held this Thursday at two
o'clock at the Trout Lake Cemetery.
Mrs. Peterson was an old pioneer of Trout Lake, coming
there in 1884 where they homesteaded what is now known as the Carl Peterson
place.
She was 88 years old at the time of her death. Mrs. Peterson
was born October 11, 1866 at Oslo, Norway, and came to the U.S.A. when she
was 24 years old, where she lived and the rest of her life.
Besides a host of friends, who will mourn her passing,
she leaves her children Wallace Peterson of White Salmon, Sanford Peterson,
Vancouver, Wash.; Mrs. Minnie Esselstyn of Portland, Mrs. Hulda Lamb, Portland;
Mrs. Hedvig Leighton, Portland, and Mrs. Lena Wilks of California.
Four grand children of White Salmon, fifteen other
grandchildren living at different places, and twenty-six great grandchildren.
