"Local Happenings"

     The remains of Martha L. Scott, who died at Medical Lake November 15, were brought here and interred in the Horseshoe Bend cemetery Monday forenoon. Services were held in the church at that place. M.L. Sanders, D. D., pastor of the Goldendale Methodist Episcopal church, officiated. Mrs. Scott was 62 years of age, and leaves the following children: Mrs. Vena Harding, Halsey, Ore.; Mrs. Marie Morgan, Joseph, Ore.; Mrs. Fitzpatrick, Enterprise, Ore.; Mrs. Stickney, Joseph, Ore.; Ralph Scott, Heppner, Ore.; and Mrs. Borzes, Lethbridge, Canada. She was the sister of Mrs. Chas. Drake, Horseshoe Bend, and John Proctor of Goldendale.
