THOMAS SERVICE HELD SATURDAY
Services were held at 2 p.m. at Gardners Funeral Home
Saturday Dec. 21st. for Malvin LeRoy Thomas, 49-year-old-employee of Underwood
Fruit & Warehouse who died Wednesday Dec. 18 at his home in White
Salmon.
Cause of death is unknown, but presumably due to a heart
attack.
The Rev. Roger Clevenger officiated at Saturday's service.
Burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery. Pall bears were James Woosley, Jim
Remick, Al Bennett, Ronald Bennett, Earl Adams and Alvin Henry.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his widow, Virginia Fern; sons
Ronald and Lloyd; and daughters, Mrs. Ray Johnson and Miss Shirley Thomas,
all of White Salmon.

MELVIN LEROY THOMAS
Services were held last Saturday for Melvin LeRoy Thomas
who passed away at his home in White Salmon on Wednesday, December
18.
Melvin Thomas was employed by the Underwood Fruit and
Warehouse company. He is survived by his wife Virginia of White Salmon; two
sons Ronald L. Thomas of White Salmon and Lloyd J. Thomas also of White Salmon;
two daughters, Mrs. Ray Johnson and Shirley Ann Thomas. Two brothers Carl
J. Kelley, Renton, Washington, and Larry M. Thomas, Seattle; two sisters,
Mrs. Gweneth Leland, Seattle and Mrs. Alice Knowlton; four grandchildren
also survive.
