MARGUERETTE M. CHARTERS
Funeral services were conducted at the Bingen gymnasium
Monday for Marguerette Mildred Charters with Rev. A.E. Derby officiating.
Members of her Sunday School class and school mates, numbering 30 gave two
beautiful songs. The pall bearers were: Leila Surbaugh, Wyla Bassford, Lucile
Tonsfeldt, Margaret North, Lois Kendall and Nettie Gilmer. Interment was
in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
She was born in Bingen, Wn., July 27, 1919 and passed
away Sunday, June 11, at her home.
She leaves to mourn her passing her parents, Mr. and
Mrs. R.C. Charters; four sisters, Mrs. H. Scott, of Yakima, Wn., Mrs. Frank
Scott of Ellensburg, Wn., Mrs. S.N. Davis of Detroit, Mich. and Mrs. John
Henke Portland, Ore.; two brothers, Robert and Perry Charters, of Bingen
and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. T.B. Proper, of Bingen and Mr. and Mrs.
W.H. Frank, of Seattle, Wn.
