MRS. CLARIDGE DIES JULY 8TH
Mrs. Joseph Claridge, 64, of this place, passed away,
Wednesday afternoon at 5 p.m., July 8 from heart attack.
Mrs. Caldridge was born in Boise, Idaho. When a small
girl, her parents moved to Bellingham where they operated a music store for
some years. Later they went to Arizona, where they remained for some time.
They came to White Salmon only a year ago. Their children having lived here
for several years, and our well known. The girls and three boys survive.
They are, Ellis, Sherrill and Sidney, and Mrs. Valerie Parker, Maude and
Streise. Time of services were not known at this writing.
She will be buried at Underwood, Washington, with Latter
Day Saint services at Gardner's Funeral Home.

MRS. CLARIDGE SERVICES HELD
Mrs. Ellis Claridge, White Salmon died in July 8, 1936
at the Hood River hospital. Lobar pneumonia was given as because of her death.
Born in Boise, Idaho, March 4, 1882, Mrs. Claridge was
the daughter of Arthur Ellis and Emily Jane Hughes. She was 54 years of age
at the time of her death.
Services were held at the Gardner Funeral Home Sunday,
July 12, at 2 p.m., and the body was interred at the Underwood cemetery.
Elders Fernley and Botts, Church of Christ of the Latter Day Saints officiated.
Mrs. Claridge is survived by Shryl, Ellis and Sydney
Claridge. Miss Streisa Claridge and Mrs. Valerie Parker, all of White Salmon.
A married daughter lives in Montana.
