SERVICES MONDAY FOR MARY HOLLY
Mary Magdaline Holly was born in Carroll County, Virginia,
to Fieldin B. and Martha Elizabeth Alderman on March 23, 1898. She was married
to Charles E. Holly in Martinsville, Virginia, on July 24, 1924. Charles
and Mary moved to Glenwood in 1928 and have made their home there since that
time.
She passed away March 5th in Klickitat Valley Hospital
in Goldendale, Washington.
Surviving her is her husband, Charles E. Holly of Glenwood;
three sons, Edward Gay Holly of Trout Lake, Joseph Fred Holly and Daniel
Charlie Holly of Glenwood; and eleven grandchildren. A girl and a boy died
at birth. Her mother, Elizabeth Alderman; two brothers, Doc and Crockett
Alderman; and three sisters, Lura Hodges, Pearl Burnett and Susan Hylton
all of Virginia, also survive.
Funeral services were held Monday, March 8th, at the
Baptist Church in Glenwood, Washington, at 1:00 p.m. Interment was in the
Mt. Adams Cemetery. The Rev. Mr. Tom Ratcliff officiated at the services.

Funeral services for Mrs. Charles E. (Mary) Holly, 66,
Glenwood, were held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 8, at Glenwood Baptist Church.
Gardners Funeral Service of White Salmon was in charge
of arrangements. The Rev. Mr. Tom Ratcliff officiated. Burial was in Mt.
Adams Cemetery, Glenwood.
Bearers were: (active) Bill Conboy, George Hathaway,
Ray Hathaway, Lafe Cooper, Clarence Lewis, Elwood Williams; (honorary) Sanders
Cox, Davie Carter, George Wellenbrock and Will Allbritton.
Mrs. Holly was born March 23, 1898 in Carroll County,
Virginia. She was married to Charles E. Holly in Martinsville, Virginia on
July 24, 1924. They have lived in Glenwood since 1928. Mrs. Holly died at
Klickitat Valley Hospital, Goldendale, on Friday, March 5, 1965.
She is survived by her widow, Charles E. Holly of Glenwood;
and three sons, Edward Gay Holly of Trout Lake, Joseph Fred and Daniel Charlie
Holly of Glenwood; and eleven grandchildren.
Also, her mother, Elizabeth Alderman; two brothers, Doc
and Crockett Alderman; three sisters, Lura Hodges, Pearl Burnett and Susan
Hylton all in Virginia.

Baptist Church at 1 p.m. for Mary Magdeline Holly, who passed away
at Klickitat Valley Hospital March 5.
Mrs. Holly was born in Carroll County, Va., March 23,
