MARGARET KRALL
Margaret Mary Krall died at her home in BZ Corners on
Nov. 15, 1997, at the age of 81.
Mrs. Krall was born on May 5, 1916, in Knoxville, Tenn.,
to Gladys I. (Dennery) and Charles E. Schilling. She moved to Washington
in the early 1920s and settled in the Gilmer Valley. She attended school
here through the eighth grade. She married Norman Krall on Nov. 6, 1933 in
Goldendale. They moved to BZ Corners in 1941. The couple was married for
63 years before his death in 1996.
She belonged to the Husum Church of God. She was an avid
gardener, wonderful homemaker and world traveler.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Donna and
Jerry Mouts, Portland; daughter Delora Portner, Hood River; son and
daughter-in-law Lynn and Mollie Krall, BZ Corners; brother Robert Schilling,
White Salmon; sister Mildred Crews, White Salmon; and nine grandchildren
and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by husband Norman, sister Bertha
Young, brother Leonard Schilling and nephew Charles Young.
Services will be today, Nov. 20, 1997, at 10 a.m. at
Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon. Vault interment will follow at Mt.
Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon was in charge of
arrangements.
