MARCELLAINE MOORE
Services for 84-year-old Marcelliine Moore, a long time
resident of Glenwood, were held Monday, June 16, 1997, at 10 a.m. at Gardner
Funeral Home in White Salmon.
Mrs. Moore died June 11, 1997, in the Hood River Care
Center. She was born Oct. 2, 1912, in Glenwood to Albert P. Bertschi and
Evelyn (Franklin). She lived most of her life there. She was a hard worker
and helped out on the family ranch.
Mrs. Moore was a member of the Glenwood Grange #94 and
the Mt. Adams Woman's Club for many years. She was also a member of the American
Diabetes Association. Her hobbies, included music and flower gardening.
Mrs. Moore is survived by her son and daughter in-law,
Donald Lyle and Sharon, Salem; sisters Margueritte Powell, Lebanon, Ore.,
and Shirley Wagner, Malden; grandchildren Steve Lyle and Catherine Nelson,
Mt. Vernon; great-grandchildren Caroline Nelson, Mt. Vernon, and Lia Verdoorn,
Sacramento. Calif.: and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the American Diabetes
Association.
Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
