MARGARET R. JAKSHA
Margaret Rosella Jaksha of White Salmon died July 28,
2002, in White Salmon at the age of 64.
She was born on May 7, 1938 in The Dalles, Ore., to Francis
and Elizabeth (Demarest) Jaksha. She grew up in the Dallesport area and attended
schools in White Salmon. She graduated from Centralia High School.
Ms. Jaksha later drove school bus in the Wenatchee area
before coming back to the White Salmon area about five years ago. She also
was an instructor for bus drivers. She loved to roller skate and bowl, and
also played in a salsa band.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Nielson, Winston,
Ore.; children Randy Worrell and Ron Worrell, both of Olympia; Annette Phelps,
Pe Ell; Michael Worrell, Ballard; Dennis Worrell, Lacey, and Daniel Worrell,
Kirkland; her sister, Rosemary Baird, Roseburg, Ore.; and nine
grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Aug. 10, 2002,
at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon. Inurnment will be in the niche wall
at the White Salmon Cemetery.
Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of the
arrangements.
The family suggests that memorials be made to Hospice
of the Gorge, P.O. Box 36, Hood River, Ore., 97031.
