"Local Gleanings"

     The death of Millard Shrum Kayser occurred on Tuesday this week, after an illness of some time. The deceased was forty four years, five months and twenty one days of age; leaves beside a host of friends and acquaintances to mourn his loss, his wife and three children,. Mr. Kayser was raised in this vicinity, having farmed for years. The funeral services were held yesterday, interment following in the Spring Creek Cemetery. Death was due to chronic heart trouble. The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved wife and children.
