MARY WILSON MARKS

Mary Wilson Marks, for many years a resident of Blockhouse section, and later of Goldendale, passed away on the 22nd day of March, 1923, after an illness extending over several weeks. For two weeks preceding her death she was paralyzed and unable to move.
She was born in Missouri August 3, 1865, and at the time of her death was in her 58th year.
The family moved to Klickitat county many years ago. She united with the Baptist church as a young woman and always continued in the communion of that church.
In 1883 she was married to Wm. H. Wilson. This union continued for twenty-five years. She leaves to mourn her loss an aged mother, Mrs. E.A. Morris, one son Harlan M. Wilson, his wife, and four children. She was highly esteemed by a host of friends.
The service was conducted by Rev. O.S. Barnum, at the Chapman parlors, last Saturday, and the interment was in the family plot in the Spring Creek cemetery. There were many beautiful floral pieces.
