     Mrs. John Thompson, of Pleasant Valley, died last Sunday evening at The Dalles hospital. Besides her husband to mourn her loss, she leaves behind a six weeks old infant; and many relatives and friends. The funeral services were held from the family home Tuesday.

OBITUARY

     Mrs. Mary Tessa Thompson, wife of J.M. Thompson, died suddenly October 7th in The Dalles hospital after a severe operation for appendicitis. The cause of her death was blood clot on the brain.
     She was born June 28, 1881, in Klickitat County near Blockhouse.
     Besides her husband she leaves two sons, one twelve years old and an infant son born in August of this year.
     She is survived by three brothers, Dale Warren, Medical Lake, Fred Warren, Toppenish, Ed Warren, Crofton Prairie, and three sisters, Emma Thompson, of Vancouver, Washington, Mrs. Anna Thompson, Battle Ground, Washington, Mrs. Tesha Nels, of Chicago.
     She was laid to rest in the Spring Creek Cemetery, Wednesday Oct. 10th, 1917.

     The following obituary notice was handed in too late for insertion of last week: Mrs. Mary Tessa Thompson, wife of J.M. She is survived by three brothers: Dell Warren, of Medical Lake; Fred Warren, of Toppenish, and Ed Warren, of Crofton Prairie; also three sisters: Emma Thompson, of Vancouver, Mrs. Anna Thomson, of Battle Ground; and Mrs. Tessie Nels, of Chicago. She was laid to rest in the Spring Creek cemetery, October 10th, 1917.

     Goldendale Woman Dies - Mrs. John M. Thompson, of Goldendale died at The Dalles hospital yesterday. Mr. Thompson took the remains to Goldendale where the interment will take place.
