Widow of the late C. E. Larsen, died at Underwood, December
21st, 1933. Funeral services were held in the Underwood School House and
burial in the local cemetery. It was just two years ago that her husband
died at the corresponding date.
Mrs. Larsen was born January 15, 1864, at Hollbrook,
Oregon. She was married to C.E. Larsen, May 27th, 1882. To this union were
born nine children of whom six are now living: Frank, Olaf, Aaron and Leslie,
of Underwood, Amos of Yakima, and one daughter, Dora Bolle, of Cook, Wash.
She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two
brothers, Dan and Bob Cline, and one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Stump, of Sherwood,
Oregon.
Mrs. Larsen and moved from Hollbrook, Oregon, to Camas
Prairie when she was thirteen years old. She lived there until her marriage,
after which with her husband she lived on a homestead near Underwood and
moved to the latter place in 1915, where she resided until the time of her
death.
The attendance of many friends at the funeral service
and the large attribute of flowers testified to the esteem in which she was
held in the community. The Hendryx-Gardner Funeral Directors and Morticians
were in charge and H.V. Rominger officiated.
