TONY MILLER
Milton V. (Tony) Miller was born February 14, 1906 in
Bemidji, Mn. He came west with his parents at an early age and settled in
the Yakima Valley.
He married Tootie Yeackel in 1929. They resided in the
Yakima Valley for a short period and then moved to Goldendale where he was
engaged in farming for 12 years. In 1946 he and his family moved to Moro,
Or. Where he continued farming for the past 26 years.
He died at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland May 16,
1972 after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife Tootie; daughters Mary Jo
Lane of Rufus, Or.; and Tonai Kirkelei of Richland; son Gary of Canby, Or.;
9 grandchildren; 3 brothers, Bert of Yakima, Victor of Eugene and Jack of
Polson, Mt.; and 2 sisters, Beatrice Case and Grace Jolgen of California.
Funeral services were held Friday May 19 at Knosher Funeral
Home with Fr. Antony Ketting officiating. Pallbearers were Luther Davis,
Earl Gentry, Paul Fraser, Bob Belshe, Ronald Powell and Jack Beers. Interment
was in the Centerville Cemetery.
