MARGARET WALBURG COOLIDGE
Requiem mass was said Thursday, June 20, 1939, at 10:30
a.m. at the Catholic church in White Salmon, for Margaret Walburg Coolidge,
who passed away on June 18, at the age of 65 years, at Klickitat, Washington,
by Father William Lee. Burial was held at Glenwood, Wash.
Margaret Walburg Collidge was born at Gervais, Oregon,
April 15, 1874. She was the widow of Frank Orlando Coolidge. She is the mother
of Carl, of Klickitat, Wash., Francis D., of Portland, Ore.; Hilda G. Larkin,
of San Diego, Calif.; William of Portland, and Raymond C. of Portland. sister
of Joseph of Woodburn, Ore.; Rose of Spokane, Wash.; Tillie, of Gervais,
Ore.; Nicholas, of Portland; Marie, of Eugene, Ore.; Lena, of Spokane, Wash.;
Sophia and Francis, of Hillsboro, Ore. She is survived by nine grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.
Margaret Walburg Coolidge was born of one of the first
pioneer families of the state of Oregon. For the past 22 years she has been
a resident of Klickitat county. She was an invalid for the past two years.
Gardners Funeral Service, of White Salmon, had charge of services.
