MARY WELLENBROCK
Mary W. Wellenbrock, of Glenwood, died Nov. 15 in Goldendale.
She was 72.
She was born in Butte, Neb., on Jan. 10, 1916 to Marguerite
Ford and Milo Williams.
She was raised in Nebraska, went to high school in Kansas
City, Mo., and married Harold Wellenbrock in Reno, Nev. of Feb. 19, 1953.
The couple moved to Glenwood, where she lived until her death.
Mrs. Wellenbrock loved to crochet, especially afghans;
she was an accomplished artist and also loved to knit.
She is survived by her husband, Harold, at home; a son,
Howard "Bun" Wellenbrock, also of Glenwood; a brother Milo "Mike" Williams
of White Salmon, two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a niece.
Services were held Nov. 20 at Pioneer Memorial Community
Church, the Rev. Gary Wilderbuer officiating. Committal was held at graveside
at the Mt. Adams Cemetery. Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of the
arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Mt. Adams Cemetery
Association or the American Cancer Society.
