MYRTLE VAUGHAN OF HUSUM DIES
Funeral services for Mrs. Myrtle Vaughan, 78, resident
of Husum since 1924, were held at 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 1 at the Gardners Chapel,
White Salmon. The Rev. Homer Coulson officiated. Burial was in the Odd Fellows
cemetery.
Casket bearers were Rel Vigus, Walt Wang, Ernest Begin,
Claire Smith, Palmer Wang and Ross Skelton.
Mrs. Vaughn was born Sept. 11, 1884 in Nebraska. Her
husband Oren died on January 27, 1945 and she on Thursday, Sept. 27, 1962
at her Husum residence. Cause of death was a stroke.
She is survived by her son Tom of Wyandotte, Michigan;
daughter, Blanche, Mrs. Tom Rogers of Priest River Idaho; granddaughter,
Mrs. Darrell Shute of Seattle; and a grandson Leonard Wang of Alaska.
Mrs. Vaughan was a member of the Husum Church and Husum
Woman's Club.
