NERETTA KAPP SUCCUMBS AT 63

     Neretta, J. Kapp, who had resided in Skamania County since her marriage to Carl Kapp November 7, 1928, died at a convalescent center in Camas Monday, May 6 at the age of 63.
     Mrs. Kapp was born July 1, 1910 in White Salmon, the daughter of Hattie and Luther Estes. During her grade school years the family moved many times because of the nature of her father's business. She attended high school in White Salmon.
     Following her marriage in Vancouver to Carl Kapp she resided in Skamania County, mostly at Home Valley and Underwood.
     Surviving are her husband, Carl Kapp of Underwood; a daughter, Mrs. Carlie M. Homes of Stevenson; a son, Ronald G. Kapp of Cook; and six sisters, Nerissa Henry of Portland; Elener Teel of Husum, Etta Hill of Husum, Lutie Morin of Butte, Montana, LaMur Erickson, and June Bleth of Clatskanie, Oregon.
     There are also four grand-children.
     Funeral services were held Thursday, May 9, at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon with Mozart Burles officiating. Interment was at the Underwood Cemetery.

NERETTA KAPP PASSES AWAY IN CAMAS, WA.

     Neretta, J. Kapp was born July 1st, 1910 in White Salmon,  Washington to Hattie and Luther Estes. During her grade school years the family moved considerably because of her father's business. She attended High School at White Salmon.
     On November 7th, 1928, she was united in marriage in Vancouver, Washington to Carl Kapp. All of her married life, she had resided in Skamania County, Home Valley and Underwood areas.
     She passed away May 6th at a convalescent center in Camas, Washington.
     Surviving are: her husband, Carl Kapp of Underwood, Washington; a daughter, Mrs. Carlie M. Holmes of Stevenson, Washington; a son, Ronald G. Kapp of Cook, Washington; six sisters, Nerissa Henry of Portland, Oregon; Elener Teel of Husum, Washington; Etta Hill of Husum, Washington; Lutie Morin of Butte, Montana, LaMur Erickson and June Bleth of Clatskanie, Oregon.
     There are also four grand-children.
     Funeral services will be on Thursday, May 9th, 2 p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon with Mozart Burles officiating. Interment was at Christ Zada Cemetery in Underwood, Washington.
