NORMAN KRALL

     Norman Edward Krall, a long-time BZ Corners resident, died March 11, 1996, in Hood River, Ore., at the age of 81.        Mr. Krall was born June 21, 1914, in Glenwood, to Julia E. (McGrath) and Edward P. Krall. He was raised in Glenwood, where he grew up on a ranch. He married Margaret Schilling in Goldendale on Nov. 6, 1933. They moved to BZ Corners in 1941, where they resided ever since.
     Mr. Krall drove log truck until his retirement in 1984. He then went back to raising cattle. He was a charter member of the Mt. Adams Elks Lodge 1868 and president of BZ TV for many years. He spent a lot of time plating cards and doing carpentry work for family members. He was a great story teller.
     Mr. Krall is survived by his wife, Margie, BZ Corners; daughter and son-in-law Donna and Jerry Moats, Portland; daughter Delora Portner, Hood River; son and daughter-in-law Lynn and Mollie Krall, BZ Corners; cousin Belva Crist, Tacoma; nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
     Services for Mr. Krall were held Saturday, March 16, 1996, at 10 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon, with Pastor Jim MacCormack and the Mt. Adams Elks Lodge officiating. Vault interment was at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
     Memorials may be given to Tall Elks in care of Mt. Adams Lodge 1868 in White Salmon.
     Arrangements were handled by Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon.

     Norman Edward Krall, 81, of BZ Corners, passed away on March 11, 1996 in Hood River. He was born June 21, 1914 in Glenwood, to Julia E. (McGrath) and Edward P. Krall.      Survivors are his wife, Margie; daughters and son-in-law, Donna and Jerry Moats of Portland and Debra Portner of Hood River, son and daughter-in-law, Lynn and Mollie Krall of BZ Corners; a cousin, Belva Crist of Tacoma; nine grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services were March 16, at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon with Pastor Jim MacCormack and Mt. Adams Elks Lodge officiating. Committal was at the vault interment at Mt. Adams Cemetery at Glenwood.
     Contributions may be given to Tall Elks c/o Mt. Adams Elks Lodge #1868 in White Salmon or Charity of choice.
