DEATH COMES TO V.F. HAYES

     Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning, September 25 at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Goldendale at 9:30 for Vincent F. Hayes who died Sunday. He had been taken to the Redmond, Oregon hospital for treatment last Thursday and had suffered a long illness.
     Rev. Martin Skehan officiated that the final rites and funeral Mass and interment was made in the Catholic Cemetery here.
     Hayes was born at Breckinridge, Minn. June 26, 1896 and had lived at Wishram the last 37 years of his life.
     He is survived by his mother Frances Hayes; three sisters, Donna Guerrettaz, Nathalie DeBilt and Mary Newman of Springfield, Oregon; and three brothers; John and James of Wishram, and Lewis of Springfield.
