NELLIE FRANCES LYKENS
Nellie Frances Lykens, 83, of Yakima, died Saturday at
Heritage Grove Care Center.
Mrs. Lykens was born in Uvalde, Texas.
Survivors include a son, Edward Alvin Lykens of Murfteesboro,
Tenn.; three daughters, Joyce Yvonne Iman of Carson, Mary Lille Sorenson
of Lyle, Wash., and Mildred Elaine Wright of Merlin, Ore.; a brother, James
0. Fellers of Roy, Wash., several granddchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service is at 2 p.m., Tuesday in Balch Cemetery,
Lyle, Wash. Shaw and Sons Funeral Directors is in charge of the arrangements.

NELLIE LYKENS
Nellie Frances Lykens, 83, of Yakima, died on March 3,
2001, at Heritage Grove Care Center in Yakima.
She was born Aug. 26, 1917, in Uvalde, Tex., to Sherman
and Frances (Dabbs) Fellers. On Feb. 22, 1936, she married Edward Francis
Lykens in Lordsburg. N.M.
Survivors include son Rev. Edward Alvin Lykens, Murfreesboro,
Tenn., daughters Joyce Yvonne Iman, Carson, Mary Lillie Sorenson, Lyle, and
Mildred Elaine Wright, Merlin, Or.; brother James 0. Fellers, Roy; nine
grandchildren Ronald V. Cox, Florina K. Osberg, Edward H. Lykens, Robert
L. Lykens, Sandra J. Sorenson, Larry G. Sorenson, Leonard D. Wright Jr.,
Jerry L. Wright, and Ladana L. Wright; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son Jerry Lee Lykens;
granddaughter Vonnie J. Cox; brothers Sherman L. Fellers, Leonard S. Fellers,
and Elwood Fellers; and sisters Valerie M. Card, Martha S. Yahne, and Margaret
L. Eberhart; and one great-granddaughter.
Graveside services for Mrs. Lykens were held Tuesday,
March 6, 2001, at 2 p.m. at Balch Cemetery in Lyle.
