NEIL CANTWELL
Neil Grover "Butch" Cantwell died in rural White Salmon
on July 2, 1997, at the age of 53.
Mr. Cantwell was born June 27, 1944, in Butte County,
Calif., and attended school there. He moved to Bingen in 1976 and has lived
there since. He was a private contractor in the logging business. He also
served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1962 to 1966.
Mr. Cantwell is survived by his special companion, Cindy
Lucas, White Salmon; daughter Cyndee Cantwell, Iowa; son Joseph, Spokane;
Cindy's children Amanda, Samantha and Jason Lucas, all of White Salmon; brothers
David R. Cantwell, California, Ricky Lee Cantwell, White Salmon, and Dennis
E. Cantwell, California; sisters Margrette Cox, Beverly Drennan, Patricia
Dunbar, Linda Liberty, Diane Cantwell, and Nancy J. Hurst, all of
California.
Funeral services for Mr. Cantwell were held July 7, 1997,
at 10 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon. Committal was in White
Salmon Cemetery.
Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
