NORMAN H. JAGELS

     Norman H. Jagels, Underwood, died June 2, 1995, from complications of a stroke and cancer, at the age of 78.
     Mr. Jagels was born Aug. l8, 1916, to Albert H. and Ella (Hilfiker) Jagels in Kiowa, Thayer Co., Neb.
     He moved to Idaho at the age of 1½ with his parents and grandparents. He moved to Portland in 1965. He was in Steamfitters Union. Upon his retirement in 1981, he moved to the Underwood area.
     Mr. Jagels was preceded in death by a son, Warren L. Jagels, Portland.
     Survivors include his wife Lois A. Jagels; daughter Dorine Getty, Escondido, Calif.; sister Juanita Meyer, Vale, Ore.; brother Marvin Jagels, Bakersfield, Calif.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
     A memorial service for Mr. Jagels was held June 7, 1995, at 11 a.m. at Lincoln-Willamette Funeral Directors.
