NELLIE HATHAWAY RITES TO BE HELD THURSDAY
Nellie Hathaway passed away June 26th at the Hylond
Convalescent Center in Goldendale, Washington after a long illness. She was
born in Minnesota, October 11, 1873 to William and Ellen Vail.
She was married to George A. Hathaway in Minnesota. He
preceded her in death. For several years her home had been Lyle, Washington.
Surviving her are three sons: Everett Hathaway of Lyle,
Washington; Wayne Hathaway of Vernonia, Oregon; and Lester Hathaway of
Bellingham, Washington. Four daughter: Ophelia Carlock of Orofino, Idaho;
Edith Reed of Boardman, Oregon; Helen Furstenberg of Hazel Dell, Washington;
Stella Strode of Cascade Locks, Oregon. One half-brother; E.L. Wooderd of
Portland, Oregon. Many grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 1, 1971,
at 2:00 p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home, White Salmon, Washington. Interment
will be in the Balch Cemetery at Lyle, Washington.
Officiating at the services will be Lloyd Knutson of
Goldendale, Washington.
