The entire valley was saddened last week when it was learned that little Norman Schmid had been called to heaven. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to the bereaved family. He was the two years old son of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Schmid who also have a baby daughter. The funeral was held Friday, with burial in the local cemetery.

NORMAN LEE SCHMID
Funeral services were held last Friday afternoon at the
Trout Lake Church for Norman Lee Schmid, two year old son of Mr. and Mrs.
Leonard Schmid, who was drowned on March 23. Burial was at the Trout Lake
Cemetery.
Norman Lee was born April 2, 1947.

SERVICES HELD FOR TROUT LAKE BOY
TROUT LAKE (Special) -- Funeral services were held at
the Trout Lake Church Friday afternoon for Norman Schmid, two-year-old son
of Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Schmid.
Little Norman had wandered away from the Schmid home
and was drowned near the White Salmon River that runs in back of the home.
