NEVA R. LYLE
Neva R. Lyle, a resident of Glenwood since 1910, died
Friday in White Salmon at the age of 92.
Mrs. Lyle was born Dec. 25, 1889, in Nickerson, Kan.,
to Mr. and Mrs. George Pendleton. A homemaker, she was a member of Glenwood
Woman's Club, Glenwood Ladies Aid, Camas Prairie and Vicinity Pioneer Association
and Glenwood Grange. She was also a 4-H leader for 14 years.
She is survived by her children, Neola Hansen and Frances
Schilling, both of Glenwood, and May Kuhnhausen, Woodburn, Ore.; a sister,
Irma Mitchell, Bremerton; six grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Lyle were held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at Pioneer Memorial
Community Church in Glenwood with Rev. Ken Wutzke officiating. Interment
was at Mt. Adams Cemetery.
