MRS. HOISINGTON CALLED

     Mrs. R.S. Hoisington, resident of this city, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 4th, and the funeral services were held Saturday and the remains of laid to rest in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
     Neita Marie Zumwalt was born in Bickleton May 6, 1897, and moved to White Salmon with her parents in 1907 and attended the local schools. She was married to R.S. Hoisington May 16, 1916. She is survived by her husband, her mother, two sisters -Mrs. Ed Lorenz of Portland, Mrs. L.J. Estes of Richland, Wash., and a brother, O.W. Zumwalt of White Salmon.
     With the passing of Mrs. R.S. Hoisington, wife of Bud Hoisington, White Salmon has lost one of its younger and much loved residents. Throughout the many months of her illness, those closely associated with her were taught only lessons of love and devotion through her patience and trust.
     With her bereaved husband are her mothers, sisters and brother, who will miss the happiness and joy which her presence gave. Relatives from various parts of the state attended her funeral. Christian Science services were conducted at the home by Mrs. Whitehead and Mr. Clark, of Hood River, Ore., Saturday afternoon, Sept. 6.
     The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks and deep appreciation to those who rendered assistance and for the many beautiful flowers.
