NEOMA W. KYTE
Neoma W. Kyte, 62, of Tacoma, died Oct. 15, 2000.
She was born Dec. 16, 1937 in Buena Vista, Wisc. to Merlin
and Inza (Schwartz) Thiele. The family later moved to Goldendale, where she
attended school. In the 1980's she moved to the Tacoma area, where she continued
her schooling, leaning to manage apartment complexes.
Neoma enjoyed doing crafts and, in the last few years,
kite flying. She loved to go to Long Beach every year for the kite-flying
contest.
More than anything, she enjoyed spending time with her
grandchildren and included them in all her adventures, from traveling to
flying kites.
Her father, Merlin Thiele and a brother Clifford Thiele,
preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Kyte of Tacoma;
two daughters, Dawn Lattimore and husband, Donald of Goldendale; Corky Trent
and husband, Tate, of Port Orchard; two sons, Kevin Yeley and wife, Kris
of Greenville, Ohio, Brent Yeley and wife, Terri of Palm Desert, Calif.;
her mother, Inza Barrett, of Goldendale; a brother, Dale Thiele and wife,
Bernice of Goldendale; grandchildren, Michael Trent and Nicole Frederick
of Tacoma, Devin Yeley of Goldendale, Victor Trent of Port Orchard, Thomas
Bell of Dallesport and Alicia Yeley of Vancouver and numerous nieces and
nephews.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, Oct. 28 at
2 p.m. in the Klickitat County Cemetery in White Salmon. Donations may be
made to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Tacoma.

Neoma W. Kyte, 62, of Tacoma and formerly of Port Orchard,
died Oct. 15, 2000, at her home of cancer.
She was born Dec. 16, 1937, in Buena Vista, Wis.
She married Kenneth Kyte on Feb. 24, 1984, in Hood River,
Ore.
She had worked as an apartment manager for 12 years,
retiring this year.
She enjoyed flying kites and being with her family.
Survivors include her husband; her mother, Inza Barrett
of Goldendale; two sons, Kevin Yeley of Greenville, Ohio, and Brent Yeley
of Palm Desert, Calif.; two daughters, Dawn Lattimore of Goldendale and Corky
Trent of Port Orchard; a brother, Dale Thiele of Goldendale; and six
grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Clifford Thiele.
A graveside service and inurnment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday
at Klickitat County Cemetery in White Salmon.
Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Tacoma or
to the American Cancer Society.
