SERVICES SATURDAY
Funeral services for Oscar Bleiler, age 89, were held
Saturday, June 11 at 1 p.m. in the Glenwood Church with Reverend George P.
George officiating.
Mr. Bleiler passed away in San Jose, California June
5th, where he had been living the past two years. For over fifty years he
had made his home in the Glenwood Valley.
Surviving are four sons, Charlie of San Jose, California,
Arthur of White Salmon, Johnnie of Glenwood, Erick of Wyoming and other
relatives.
He was laid to rest beside his wife in the family plot
at the Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.

OSCAR BLEILER FUNERAL HELD IN GLENWOOD LAST SATURDAY
The funeral of Oscar Bleiler was held in the Glenwood
church, Saturday June 11 at 1 p.m., Gardner's Funeral Home in charge. Rev.
Geo. P. George in charge of services.
Pall bearers were: Albin Bergland, Ivan Keel, Lee Conboy,
Merle Akerill, Clarence Lewis and Max Ladiges Jr. Bertha Babcock and Tressie
Feller sand, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Abide With Me", accompanied by Mildred
DeVries.
All four Bleiler boys were present, Charlie and family
of California, Eric of Wyoming, Arthur of White Salmon, and Johnnie of Glenwood.

OSCAR BLEILER OF GLENWOOD DIES AT SAN JOSE, CALIF.
Oscar Bleiler, a resident of Glenwood for over 50 years,
died Monday morning at the home of his son, Charlie Bleiler, in San Jose,
California.
Burial services will be conducted at the Glenwood Cemetery
Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock.
Mr. Bleiler, who was about 90 years of age, was a pioneer
resident of the Glenwood area, spending a large part of his life there before
moving to San Jose about two years ago to live with his son. His obituary
will be published next week.
